Scope
• Led the product design team.
• Gained an understanding of the complex problem being solved by interviewing team members, which included computational linguists and machine learning experts.

Design Process
• User flows were done iteratively with feedback gathered from team members remotely.
• Justified push backs against feature requests to keep the product simple, easy to use, and to best utilize engineering resources.
• Supported engineering implementation by writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and providing the appropriate assets.

Outcome
• Transformed a tedious process (involving manual XML and spreadsheet data inputting) into an easy-to-use web app.
• Redesigned a Sankey diagram MVP into a highly sophisticated and interactive analytics tool with easy-to-use intuitive features and power tools.
